How to unstake from a trading agent
The rules
- A stake can be unstaked only after its lock period ends. Until then it shows "{n}d remaining" and the button reads "Locked ({n} days remaining)". The app has no early unstake.
- Unstaking applies to one stake (position) at a time and to its whole principal. The window shows Amount to Unstake and has no field to type a partial amount. If you have several stakes in an agent, unstake each one when it is ready.
- Your principal returns to your spot balance: "Your spot balance is updated and this stake is now closed."
- Your daily profit is not part of unstaking. It was already paid to your Funding wallet each day. The window's note says "Your principal plus your share of accumulated profits will be returned to your spot balance based on your effective weight." Daily profit that has already been paid stays where it was paid (your Funding wallet).
- You cannot unstake a stake that is already being unstaked or is already Unstaked.
- Agent paused? A stake can still be shown as Ready to unstake when its unlock date has passed. The app does not tie unstaking to the agent being active.
Steps
- Open My stakes (or the agent page and its My Portfolio tab).
- Find the stake with the green status Ready to unstake. A green dot also shows on the My Portfolio tab.
- Press Unstake. The window "Unstake from {agent}" opens.
- Check Position ID, Principal, Lock Period, Multiplier, Effective Weight, Locked At, Unlock At and Status, then Amount to Unstake.
- Press Unstake {amount} {token}. While it is sending the button reads "Sending your request...".
- Read the result (below), then press Close.
Results
1. Done: "{amount} {token} returned to your balance"
The description says: "Your spot balance is updated and this stake is now closed." Check your Spot balance. The stake status becomes Unstaked and the stake leaves your lists.
2. In progress: "Unstaking {amount} {token}"
The description says: "Today's results for this stake are still being finalized. Your principal stays reserved for you and arrives in your spot balance once that's done."
This is expected in some cases. While it is in progress:
- The stake status is Unstaking (yellow). The Unstake button is replaced by "Unstaking" and cannot be pressed.
- The window shows: "Unstaking {amount} {token}. Your principal is reserved and arrives once today's results are final."
- You do not need to press anything again. Check back later: when it is finalized the status changes to Unstaked and the principal is in your Spot balance.
- The app does not state a processing time, so it may not be instant.
3. Could not confirm: "We couldn't confirm your unstaking"
The description says: "Your stake is safe and was not unstaked twice. Try again to check the result." Press Try again. The retry checks the same request, it does not create a second one. The window also has Close. You can also close the window and look at the stake status: if it already shows Unstaking or Unstaked, the request went through.
Locked stakes
If you open a locked stake, the window shows "This position is still locked. You can unstake in {n} days." in yellow and the disabled button "Locked ({n} days remaining)". Press Close and come back after the unlock date.
Already unstaked
If you open a stake that is already closed, the window says "This stake was already unstaked to your spot balance." and the button shows "Unstaked".
After unstaking
- The principal is in your spot balance. From there you can trade, transfer or stake again. Use the wallet articles for transfers and withdrawals.
- Your stake no longer counts towards Vault Balance.
- Past daily payouts remain in your Payouts history. On the stake performance view the app notes "You've unstaked your stake here. Any earnings below are still paid to your Funding wallet." The earnings of days that were still being settled when you unstaked continue to be paid to your Funding wallet.
- If a loss was taken on your principal during the stake, the amount returned is the smaller principal shown in the window (see the article on losses).
Frequently asked questions
Can I unstake only part of my stake? No. The window unstakes the whole principal of the stake you picked.
Can I unstake before the lock ends? No, not in the app. The button is disabled until the unlock date.
I pressed Unstake but the money is not in my balance. Check the status. Unstaking means the request is being finalized and the principal is reserved for you. Unstaked means it should already be in your Spot balance (not Funding). If it stays on Unstaking for longer than you expect, contact Support.
Will my profit come with the principal? No. Profit is paid daily to your Funding wallet. Unstaking returns principal.
Is there an unstake fee? The unstake window shows no fee line. If you see a fee on your account that you do not understand, send a screenshot to Support.
Does a voucher come back? No. A voucher is never paid out. Only your own cash principal is returned. See the article on staking with a voucher.
I am not sure if my request went through. Press Try again or check the status on My stakes. You cannot unstake the same stake twice.

Include: account email or ID, agent name, Position ID (shown in the window), the amount, the date and time you pressed Unstake, the status you see now and screenshots of the window and of your Spot balance. Never share your password, 2FA code, seed phrase or private key.
