How to stake into a trading agent (step by step)

Agents Investment

Before you start

  • You must be signed in. Signed-out visitors see Connect wallet to stake on the agent page and are asked to sign in first.
  • Check the agent is taking new stakes. If it is not, the Stake button is disabled and the app shows the reason (see "Stake errors and why you cannot stake with an agent").
  • Staking uses the token the agent accepts. The token is shown next to the agent name and on the Stake button, for example "Stake USDT". Each agent has its own token.
  • You need at least the minimum stake: the app shows Min Stake under the Stake button, and the stake window says "Minimum 1 {token}" (1 unit of the agent's token).

Steps

  1. Open Agents and choose an agent, or press Stake on its card. The agent page opens and, when you are signed in, the stake window opens by itself.
  2. In the window titled "Stake with {agent name}", check the Token row.
  3. Enter the Stake Amount, or press MAX to fill the most you can stake. Up to 8 decimal places are accepted.
  4. Look at Available. This is the combined amount you can stake from your Spot, Funding and Futures balances in that token. When you hold some in Funding or Futures, a second line shows each part in the form "Spot (amount) · Funding (amount) · Futures (amount)". The platform moves the part that is not in Spot for you when you confirm.
  5. (Optional) If you have a voucher that can be used here, the field Add voucher (optional) is shown. See the article on staking with a voucher.
  6. Choose a Lock Period: each button shows the days and the share, for example "30 days" and "1x share". Press the small info icon for the explanation.
  7. Review the panel on the right (or below on mobile): Lock Period, Multiplier, Unlocks on, Effective Weight, the estimates, Trading Asset and the settlement notes.
  8. Press the button Stake {token} (for example "Stake USDT"). While it is working it reads "Staking…".
  9. On success the window shows "Stake successful" with the text "{amount} {token} is now staked with {agent} until {date}." Buttons: View my stakes (opens My Stakes) and Stake again.

Which balances can be used

The agent page shows My Wallet with Spot Balance and Vault Balance. Spot alone can look smaller than what you can stake, because a deposit lands in your Funding wallet and Futures holds free margin. The stake window offers the combined total, and tells you which wallet each part sits in. If you want to deposit first, see the deposit articles.

If your available amount is below the minimum, the window shows "You need USDT to stake" (with the agent's token name) and the text "Deposit USDT to your account, then come back to stake." and a Deposit USDT button. Press it to open the deposit window. The stake window closes first.

If the balances cannot be loaded, you see "Balance unavailable" with a retry link, and the Stake button stays disabled until the balance is known.

The minimum, the decimals and your balance

  • The minimum is "Minimum 1 {token}" in the window and Min Stake on the page.
  • At most 8 decimal places.
  • The amount cannot be more than Available.
  • Errors are explained in the article "Stake errors and why you cannot stake with an agent".

Lock plans in one view

Each stake has one lock period. Typical plans shown by the app are 30 days (1.0x multiplier), 90 days (1.5x multiplier) and 180 days (2.0x multiplier), as in the app's FAQ. The exact plans for an agent are listed under Lock Period Options on its page. See "Lock plans, multiplier, effective weight and estimated returns" for what the multiplier does.

The lock period cannot be shortened after you confirm. A longer lock means a bigger share of the vault's profit but the principal stays locked longer.

The unlock date

The window shows Unlocks on with a date (for example "Jan 5, 2026"). This is a preview made at the moment the window opened (now plus the lock days). The real unlock time is set by the platform when your stake is confirmed. After staking, check Unlocks at under My stakes.

When does my stake start earning?

The app says: "You share profit from the agent's trades as soon as your stake is confirmed." Profit then "settles daily at 00:00 UTC". In your earnings panel, Estimated today shows "Starts once your stake is confirmed" until the stake is counted, and the earnings history says "Daily earnings appear the day after your stake becomes eligible." So expect your first daily earnings after the next settlement, not immediately.

After staking

  • The new position appears under My stakes and on the agent's My Portfolio tab.
  • Your balances update. Your principal is now locked in the vault.
  • Nothing needs to be done. The agent trades and daily earnings arrive in your Funding wallet.
  • To stake again, press Stake again. A new stake is a separate position with its own lock and unlock date.

Things that cannot be done in the stake window

  • You cannot stake from a different token than the agent accepts.
  • You cannot change the amount or lock period of a stake you already made.
  • You cannot cancel a confirmed stake. You can only unstake after the lock ends.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the Stake button grey? The amount is empty, your available balance is below the minimum, the voucher amount is invalid, the balance could not load, a stake is being processed, or the agent is closed to new stakes.

My balance shows more than Spot. Why? The window uses Spot + Funding + Futures together and shows each part.

Can I stake the full balance? Yes, press MAX. It fills your available balance cut to 8 decimals.

I pressed Stake twice. Did I stake twice? The window blocks a second press while "Staking…" is on screen. If you see an error and try again with the same amount, lock period and voucher, the app sends it as the same request. Check My stakes before retrying so you know whether the first one went through.

When to contact Support

Include: account email or ID, agent name, token, amount, lock period, time of the attempt, whether a voucher was used, a screenshot of the error and your balances (Spot, Funding, Futures) before and after. Never send your password, 2FA code, seed phrase or private key.
