Lock plans, multiplier, effective weight and estimated returns

Lock plans

When you stake you choose a Lock Period. During the lock, your principal stays in the agent's vault. The app explains: "Your stake stays with the agent for this period so it can hold positions and trade without closing them early. Longer periods earn a bigger profit share."

The plans the app shows are:

Lock periodMultiplier
30 days1x
90 days1.5x
180 days2x

The app's FAQ says: "30 days (1.0x multiplier), 90 days (1.5x multiplier), or 180 days (2.0x multiplier)". The list for a specific agent is on its page under Lock Period Options ("Longer lock periods earn higher profit multipliers") and as chips such as "30d · 1x" on the agent card. The agent page also shows the highest multiplier next to Min Stake.

In the stake window the 90 days plan is pre-selected. You can change it before you confirm. After you confirm, the lock period cannot be changed in the app.

The multiplier is a profit-share weight, not interest

The multiplier does not add interest and does not guarantee any return. The tooltip says: "Profit share multiplier based on lock period. Effective weight = Principal x Multiplier."

Effective weight

  • Effective weight = Principal x Lock multiplier.
  • "Your share of the vault's total profits. Higher weight = larger share on unstaking."
  • The app's example: staking 1000 tokens with a 90-day lock (1.5x) gives an effective weight of 1500. Higher weight means a larger share of profits.

On screens you will see it as Effective Weight (stake window and unstake window), Profit share (My stakes) or Weight (My Portfolio). Your total weight across stakes in one agent is shown at the top of My Portfolio.

Your share of a day's profit depends on your weight compared with the weight of everyone in the vault. When more people stake, your share of the same profit gets smaller. When the day's result is a loss, the loss is shared by principal and the multiplier does not reduce your loss (see the article on losses).

The stake window preview

After you enter an amount, the right-hand panel shows (when the app has enough settled history):

LabelMeaning
Lock PeriodThe days you chose.
MultiplierThe weight for that lock, for example 1.5x.
Unlocks onPreview of the unlock date.
Effective WeightYour stake x multiplier, in the agent's token.
Est. daily payout"Your share of the vault's profit, estimated from the average of the last 7 settled days. Daily results vary, so what you receive can be higher or lower."
Est. 30-day earnings"Est. daily payout added up over 30 daily settlements, based on the last 7 settled days. Profit only; your stake isn't included."
Est. total return after lock period"Your cash stake plus the estimated profit paid out daily across the whole lock period, after any estimated losses. Profit arrives every day, not as one payment at unlock. Your stake comes back when it unlocks; vouchers are not paid out."
Est. ROI"Estimated total return minus the cash you stake, divided by that cash. Vouchers are not counted as money invested. For the whole lock period, not annualized."

Also: "Estimates are based on past trading performance and are not guaranteed. Actual earnings may vary." and "*Based on agent's 30-day performance".

How to read the estimates

  • The estimates change when you change the amount, the voucher or the lock plan.
  • They are built from the agent's last 7 completed daily settlements. They are a projection, not a promise.
  • A positive figure is shown as a gain and a negative figure as a loss. A negative estimate means the recent days averaged a loss for stakers.
  • Est. total return and Est. ROI count only your own cash. If you add a voucher, the voucher raises your weight but is not counted as money you invested and is never paid out.
  • Profit comes every day to your Funding wallet. The total return is not a single payment at unlock. Only your principal comes back at unlock.

When the estimate shows "Not available"

If the agent has no completed settled days to base an estimate on yet, each estimate line shows "Not available". Staking is still possible. The panel with estimates also does not appear until you enter a valid cash amount.

Choosing a lock period

The app does not recommend a plan. Things to weigh yourself:

  • A longer lock gives a higher multiplier and so a bigger slice of future daily profit, but you cannot unstake until it ends.
  • Past results do not predict future results. The profit may be smaller than the estimate, zero, or a loss.
  • Each new stake is separate. You can stake again later with a different lock period.

Frequently asked questions

Is 1.5x the same as 150% return? No. It means your stake counts 1.5 times as much when the vault's profit is shared out.

Do I earn more per day with a longer lock? A longer lock gives you a larger weight. Whether that means more money depends on the agent's daily results, which can be profit or loss.

Can I unlock early? The app has no early unstake. The stake becomes Ready to unstake when the unlock date passes.

Why is my estimate different from what I received? Estimates use the last 7 settled days. Real daily results vary and can be lower or higher.

Why is Est. ROI negative? Recent daily results averaged a loss, so the estimate shows your cash shrinking.

When to contact Support

If a weight, multiplier or lock date on your stake does not match what you chose, send: account email or ID, agent name, the date and time of the stake, the lock period you selected, a screenshot of the stake window and a screenshot of My stakes. Never share your password, 2FA code, seed phrase or private key.
