Adding a voucher to your agent stake

Agents Investment

This article covers the optional voucher field inside the normal stake window. For where vouchers come from, trial staking and Rewards cash, see the voucher articles and My Vouchers.

What it is

When you stake your own funds with an agent you can add a voucher on top. The app says: "When you stake your own funds with an agent, add a voucher on top. The voucher can be up to {percent}% of the total." The voucher increases the size of your stake and so your share of the vault's profit, without using more of your own money.

When the "Add voucher (optional)" field appears

The field is shown in the stake window only when all of these are true:

  • The agent's token is USDT. Vouchers only fund USDT stakes.
  • Vouchers for staking are switched on by the platform at that moment.
  • You have a usable voucher balance greater than zero.
  • The platform's per-use limit and percentage limit are greater than zero.

If any of them is missing, the field is not shown and you stake with cash only. Nothing is wrong with your account.

How to use it

  1. Enter your own cash in Stake Amount. The voucher limit depends on it, so type the cash first.
  2. In Add voucher (optional) enter a voucher amount, or press Use max to fill the largest allowed amount.
  3. The field shows "Voucher available: {amount}" and "Vouchers can cover up to {percent}% of your total stake." The percentage and the amounts are set by the platform, so read them on your screen.
  4. Choose a lock period and press Stake {token}.

The limits

The most voucher you can add is the smallest of:

  • The percentage limit. The voucher can be at most that percentage of the combined stake (your cash plus the voucher). For example, if the limit is 50%, the voucher can be at most as large as your own cash. The more cash you stake, the more voucher you can add.
  • Your usable voucher balance.
  • The per-use cap: "A single order or stake can use up to {cap} USDT of voucher."

If you leave the field empty, or type 0, the stake uses cash only. The voucher is optional.

Error messages

MessageCauseFix
"Lower the voucher to {amount} or less."The voucher is more than the allowed limit for your cash stake. The amount shown is your current maximum.Reduce the voucher or increase your cash, or press Use max.
"Enter a valid amount, like 25 or 12.5."The voucher field is not a valid number.Type a plain positive number.
"Use up to 8 decimal places."Too many digits after the decimal point.Shorten the number.
"This isn’t available right now. Please try again later."You entered a voucher but vouchers cannot be used for this stake right now (for example switched off, or no usable balance).Clear the voucher field and stake with cash only, or try later.

The Stake button stays disabled while the voucher field has an error. If the platform has stopped allowing vouchers while a number is still in the field, the field stays on screen so you can see the message and clear it. The stake does not quietly turn into a cash-only stake.

You may also see these voucher messages if the platform refuses the stake: "Your voucher balance is too low for this amount. Enter a smaller amount." and "This voucher has expired." and "This agent isn’t taking new stakes right now. Choose another agent." and "This request was already sent with different details. Close this window and try again." A general failure shows "Stake Failed" and "Couldn't stake your tokens. Try again."

How a voucher stake behaves afterwards

  • Weight and profit. The voucher counts in the stake used to compute your weight. So with a voucher your effective weight is (cash + voucher) x multiplier, and your daily profit share follows that weight. Profit is paid in cash to your Funding wallet.
  • ROI. The estimates count only your own cash as invested: "Vouchers are not counted as money invested."
  • Losses. The voucher part absorbs loss first. Only after it is used up does a loss reduce your cash.
  • Unstaking. After the lock ends, only your own cash principal is returned. "Vouchers are not paid out." Vouchers cannot be withdrawn or transferred.
  • Voucher balance. The voucher you add is used up by the stake. Check your remaining balance and expiry in My Vouchers. A voucher expires after the days stated in the app. The one expiring soonest is used first.
  • Fees. Trading fees are always paid from your own funds.

Other ways vouchers fund a stake

  • Trial staking is a separate flow started from My Vouchers. It uses only voucher money and does not use the optional field described here.

Frequently asked questions

Why can't I see the voucher field? The agent is not a USDT agent, vouchers for staking are off, or you have no usable voucher balance.

Why can I only add a small voucher? The limit is a percentage of the combined stake and also capped per use. Add more cash to raise the limit.

Will I get the voucher amount back? No. Vouchers are never paid out. Only profit and your cash principal can be paid.

Does the voucher count in my earnings? It increases your weight, so your share of profit can be larger. It is not counted as your money in ROI.

My voucher expired before I used it. Expired vouchers cannot be used. The app says "This voucher has expired."
