Invite links and referral codes: share, create and manage

Referral & VIP

Your invite link and referral code are how BYNAI knows a new user signed up through you. Only sign-ups through your link count toward your referral rewards.

Find and share your link

  1. Open Referral and stay on the Overview tab.
  2. In the Default Link section, find Referral Link and Referral Code. Use the copy icon next to each one.
  3. To share, use the round icons for Facebook, Telegram, X, WhatsApp or Reddit (each opens a share window, labelled "Share on" followed by the network name), or the QR icon (Show QR) to show a QR code and your code. Close the QR window with the close button or the Escape key.
  4. At the top of the page, the Copy invite link button copies your default link; the app confirms with "Invite link copied".

If you are not signed in, the link and code show as dashes and the share icons are greyed out. Sign in with Connect Wallet first.

If you have no link yet, the top button reads Create Link and takes you to the Links tab.

Your default link looks like the site address followed by /invite/ and your code.

The Default Link section: You and Invitee percentages

The Spot and Futures cards in the Default Link section show a "You" and an "Invitee" percentage. These two always add up to 100%: they split the commission you earn from your friend's trading fees. The "Invitee" part is the discount your friend gets; the "You" part is what you keep. Spot trading is not available on BYNAI yet, so the Futures card is the one that matters today. The slider can give friends from 0% up to 10% of your commission.

Create a new link

  1. Open Referral and choose the Links tab.
  2. Select Create Link. The Create Referral Link window opens with the warning "Rebate rate cannot be changed after link is created".
  3. Set Invitee Fee Rebate with the slider (0% to 10%). The text explains it as the "Percentage of trading fees returned to users who sign up with your link".
  4. Enter a Referral Code: 8 to 12 uppercase letters or numbers (the field changes letters to uppercase and removes other characters). If you type fewer than 8 characters the app shows "Code must be at least 8 characters" and the Create button stays disabled.
  5. Optionally add a Note (Optional) of 1 to 20 characters.
  6. Select Create. The app shows "Referral link created". If it fails you see "Failed to create referral link" or a message returned by the server (for example if the code cannot be used). Try a different code.

The window also has the switches "Display my info on invite page" (with the note "Enable to boost new user conversion rate by 15%") and "Set as the default referral link". After creating a link, check the list; if the link is not marked Default or its profile display is not as you wanted, change it from the link's actions menu as described below.

Important: the invitee rebate of a link cannot be changed after the link is created. If you want a different rebate, create another link.

Manage your links

The Links tab lists your links with these columns: Referral Code, Referral Link, Creation Date, Referrals, Spot and Futures Trading Volume, Spot and Futures Commission, Spot Commission Rate (You/Invitee), Futures Commission Rate (You/Invitee), Profile Display and Status. You can search by code or note with Search by code... and pick a date range.

Open the actions menu (three dots, labelled "Actions") on a link to:

  • Edit Note: the Edit Label window accepts 1 to 20 characters. Messages: "Label updated" or "Failed to update label".
  • Set as Default: makes it your default link (shown with a Default tag). The option appears for active links that are not already the default.
  • Show Profile or Hide Profile: controls whether your name shows on the invite page (same as the Profile Display switch).
  • Disable: turns a link off. A disabled link is labelled Disabled and the menu then offers Enable. If you disabled a link by mistake and cannot find it in your list, contact Support.

Futures Commission Ratio (friend discount)

At the bottom of the Links tab, Futures Commission Ratio shows your futures split between You and Referral. Select the edit icon to open Edit Futures Rebate: "Set the rebate rate for all your invitees when they trade Futures. This can be changed at any time." Move the Invitee Rebate Rate slider (0% to 10%) and select Save. Messages: "Futures rebate updated" or "Failed to update futures rebate". The futures rate applies to all your invitees, unlike the spot rate which is fixed per link.

What your friend sees

When someone opens your link, they land on a BYNAI invite page:

  • With your profile shown: "... invited you to BYNAI" with your name. With profile hidden or if the link cannot be loaded: "A friend invited you to BYNAI" or the general headline "Let AI agents trade for you".
  • A short pitch ("BYNAI agents trade crypto for you. Stake USDT with an agent, choose how long to lock it, and earn a share of its profit.").
  • Top agents right now with each agent's 30-day return (or "No results yet"), and Browse agents.
  • A Connect Wallet button. A new visitor who signs in from this page is taken to the agents page.

How the code stays attached to your friend

When your friend opens your link, BYNAI remembers your code in their browser for 30 days so it can be applied when they sign up. Older links on the prelaunch referral page still work: they redirect to the Referral page and keep the code. A code can also come through a ?ref= address.

Common reasons a friend does not count:

  • They already had an account before using your link.
  • They cleared browser data, switched browser or device, or waited more than 30 days before signing up.
  • They opened a different person's link last.
  • They signed up without opening the link (ask them to use it before registering).

You can check whether people are opening your link and signing up in the Your invite link box on the Overview tab (see the article on tracking referral earnings).

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the code of an existing link? The app does not offer that. Create a new link with the code you want.

Can I have more than one link? Yes. Create several and give each a note so you can tell them apart, for example one per channel.

Can I change the rebate after I created a link? No for the per-link rate ("Rebate rate cannot be changed after link is created"). The futures rate can be changed any time in Futures Commission Ratio.

Is my email shown to friends? The invite page can show your username when profile display is on. Use Hide Profile to turn it off.

When to contact Support

Include your account email or UID, the referral code, the friend's UID or sign-up date, the exact message you saw and a screenshot.

Safety reminder

Only share your invite link or code. Never share your password, 2FA code, seed phrase or private key. Be careful with anyone who asks you to send funds in return for a referral.
