PnL Analysis - understanding your profit and loss figures
What PnL means
PnL means profit and loss. BYNAI shows it in three places: the PnL Analysis page, the PnL Overview card on your Dashboard, and the PnL figures on your Futures wallet page.
- Realized PnL – profit or loss from positions you have already closed ("Closed positions" under the figure). It is locked in.
- Unrealized PnL – profit or loss on positions that are still open ("Open positions" under the figure). It moves with the market price and only becomes realized when you close the position.
- Total PnL – the headline figure combining your results over the chosen period.
- Today's PnL ("Today") – how your PnL changed compared with yesterday, with a percentage.
- Win Rate – the share of your trades that ended in profit. When Spot and Futures are combined, the page averages them weighted by the number of trades.
- Trades ("Total executed") – the number of trades counted in the period.
PnL figures are informational. They are not advice and do not predict future results.
Where to find it
- Sign in, open your Dashboard and click Details next to PnL Overview. This opens the PnL Analysis page. Use the back arrow there to return to the Dashboard.
- On your Futures wallet page you also see Unrealized PnL, Today's PnL, Realized and Win Rate (win rate shows "--" until it can be calculated).
- On the Portfolio page the chart has a PnL tab and a "PnL (24h)" figure.
If you are signed out, the page says "Sign in to view your PnL analysis" and the Dashboard says "Sign in to view your PnL".
The PnL Analysis page
The title is PnL Analysis with the subtitle "Track your trading performance".
Controls
- Market tabs: All, Spot, Futures. Spot is not available (it shows "Coming Soon") because Spot trading is not live. All adds the Spot and Futures figures together; Futures shows futures only.
- Period buttons: 7D, 30D, 90D. The page opens on 30D.
- Refresh (the circular arrow) reloads all figures.
Summary cards
Total PnL (with Today and its percentage), Realized ("Closed positions"), Unrealized ("Open positions"), Win Rate (with a bar), Trades ("Total executed"). Profit is shown with a plus sign in green and loss in red. If a figure cannot be loaded, it shows "--" rather than 0.
Charts
- Cumulative PnL / Daily PnL – switch with the Cumulative and Daily buttons. Cumulative adds up each day's change across the chosen period; Daily shows each day separately.
- Daily PnL Heatmap – a calendar with the label "Last 90 days". Days are shaded by size, with a legend from "Loss" to "Profit" and "Less" to "More".
Asset PnL Breakdown
The table is titled with your period, for example "Asset PnL Breakdown (30D)", and has Asset, Value, PnL and Trades. Click a column heading to sort. By default it is sorted by PnL from highest to lowest and shows the top 10; if there are more, press Show All (with the count) or Show Less.
Messages and states

Important notes
- Unrealized PnL changes while a position is open, so Total PnL changes too even when you do nothing.
- The Dashboard card PnL Overview has its own 7/30/90 day switch and shows Total PnL, Today, Realized ("Closed"), Unrealized ("Open"), Trades ("Total") and Win Rate.
- The PnL Analysis figures are different from your account balance. Balance shows what you hold; PnL shows how your trading has performed.
- Fees and funding payments for futures are shown separately in the Portfolio page's Perp Summary (see "Portfolio page").
FAQ
Why is my PnL different on the Dashboard and the PnL Analysis page? Check the period (7D, 30D, 90D) and the market tab (All or Futures). Both should use the same period to match.
Why is Unrealized PnL changing? It follows the market price of your open positions.
Why is my Win Rate 0% or "--"? There are no closed trades yet in the period, or the figure is not available.
Can I see Spot PnL? Not now. The Spot tab shows "Coming Soon".
Why does the heatmap say Last 90 days? The calendar always labels a 90-day window.
When to contact Support
If a PnL figure looks wrong, send: your account email or UID, which page and card, the period and market tab selected, the figure shown and the one you expected, the symbol or trade involved, the time, and a screenshot. Never share your password, 2FA codes, seed phrase or private keys.
