Fee Saver: automatic futures fee rebates
What Fee Saver is
Fee Saver is a separate balance that is applied automatically to your futures trading fees after each fill. The app says: "Applied automatically to your futures trading fees after each fill, up to $[amount] a day. It can’t be withdrawn or transferred." You do not need to switch anything on or press anything. The daily limit is shown on your Fee Saver card.
It is not the same as a voucher used as margin. A voucher cannot pay fees ("Trading fees are always paid from your own funds."). Fee Saver gives back part of the fee after the trade.
Where to see it
- My Vouchers (account menu, then Vouchers): a Fee Saver card at the top of the page. It only appears if you have a Fee Saver balance or have used it before.
- Available: your remaining Fee Saver balance.
- Used so far: how much has been paid back to you in total.
- "Expires on [date]": when your balance ends.
- Fee rebates: a list of each rebate.
- Assets page, in the Vouchers section: a Fee Saver block with Available and Left to use today, and the note "Pays back your futures trading fees automatically, up to $[amount] a day."
- Futures order form and trade history: the fee is shown with the original amount crossed out, the amount you pay after the rebate, and a Fee Saver label. Tapping the label opens the Fee Saver card. The label's tooltip says: "Estimated rebate from your Fee Saver balance, applied automatically after the fill (max $5/day)." On the order form this is an estimate. The daily limit on your Fee Saver card is the figure that applies to your account.
The rebate list
Under Fee rebates each row shows:
- the trading pair (or "Futures trade" if the pair cannot be shown) and Taker or Maker,
- the date and "Fee [amount] USDT" (the fee of that fill),
- Processing if the rebate is still being handled,
- the rebate amount on the right.
Press Show more to load older rebates. Rebates that did not pay anything back are not listed.
