Installing BYNAI and using it offline

Technical Issues

BYNAI is a website that can also be added to your phone or computer like an app. There is no separate download from an app store and no install button inside BYNAI. You add it using your browser's own menu.

How BYNAI looks when installed

  • The app is named BYNAI Exchange (short name BYNAI) with the BYNAI logo as its icon.
  • It opens in its own window without the browser address bar.
  • It asks for portrait orientation on phones.
  • It opens at the BYNAI home page.

How to add BYNAI to your device

The exact wording depends on your browser and device. Look in your browser's menu for an option to install the app or add the site to your home screen.

iPhone or iPad (Safari): open BYNAI in Safari, tap the Share button, then choose Add to Home Screen.

Android (Chrome or similar): open BYNAI, open the browser menu, then choose Install app or Add to Home screen.

Computer (Chrome, Edge or similar): open BYNAI and look for an install icon in the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose the install option.

If you do not see an option, your browser may not support installing websites. You can keep using BYNAI in the browser as usual. BYNAI does not state a list of supported browsers.

What works offline

BYNAI keeps a small saved copy of some pages so it can open when your connection drops.

  • Pages you opened recently may open from the saved copy if you have no connection.
  • Live data is never saved. Prices, order books, balances, orders and positions need a connection and do not appear offline.
  • You cannot place orders, deposit, withdraw or transfer without a connection.
  • When you are online, BYNAI always tries to load the newest version of a page first.
  • Saved copies only work in browsers that support this feature and on a secure (https) connection. In other cases the site simply works online.

The "You're offline" page

If you have no connection and the page you want has not been saved, you see:

You're offline Live prices and trading need a connection. We'll reconnect as soon as you're back online.

and a Try Again button. Tap it once your connection is back, which takes you to the home page.

What to do:

  1. Check Wi-Fi or mobile data, airplane mode, and any VPN.
  2. Open another website to confirm your internet works.
  3. Tap Try Again or refresh the page.

If you open a trading page and your connection drops, the page does not show the offline page. Instead it shows reconnection indicators. See "Prices or balances not updating".

Updating and removing the installed app

  • BYNAI updates itself when you open it with a connection. You do not install updates.
  • To remove it, delete it like any other app or home-screen shortcut. Your account and funds are not affected, because your data is stored on your BYNAI account, not on your device.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a BYNAI app in the App Store or Google Play? The app does not mention one. Use the website, add it to your home screen as described, or open BYNAI inside Telegram.

The installed app shows an old page or looks broken. Close and reopen it with a connection. If it still looks wrong, see "Page not loading or stuck loading" for clearing site data.

Will I see live prices offline? No. Live prices need a connection.

Is it safe to add BYNAI to my home screen? Only install from the official BYNAI website address you typed or bookmarked yourself.
