Withdrawal security verification and cooldown

Withdrawals

What it is

To protect your funds, BYNAI can ask you to prove it is you before a withdrawal is created. The same Security Verification window is used for turning the whitelist on or off, adding or removing a whitelist address, and sending to another user. Which checks you see depends on your account setup and on the platform; the app shows only the checks it requires.

Where it appears

After you press Confirm Withdrawal on Withdraw Crypto, a window titled Security Verification may open: "Complete security verification to continue". The withdrawal is created only after all the checks are completed. If you close the window before finishing, the withdrawal is not created; submit it again.

The checks

Each required check is a card. It shows a green Verified badge when done.

  • Authenticator App - "Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app".
  • Email Verification - press Send Code, then "Enter the 6-digit code sent to [your email]".
  • SMS Verification - press Send Code, then "Enter the 6-digit code sent to [your phone]".
  • Fund password - enter your fund password (the extra password required for withdrawals and transfers, set in your security settings). Type the 6-digit code and press Verify (it also verifies when all six digits are entered).

Messages

  • "Code sent to [where]" - the code was sent.
  • "Didn't receive the code?" with "Resend in [seconds]s" - you can resend after the countdown (60 seconds). Then press Resend.
  • "[count] attempts remaining" - the code was wrong; try again carefully.
  • "Failed to start verification. Try again." / "Failed to send verification code. Try again." / "Verification failed. Try again." - temporary problem or wrong code; wait and retry.
  • "No verification methods available." - the platform could not offer a method; contact Support.
  • Error notifications titled "Error" may carry a reason from the platform; quote it to Support.

Security cooldown

After some security changes, withdrawals can be restricted for a while. On Security you may see a banner Security Cooldown Active: "Withdrawals are temporarily restricted due to recent security changes." It lists each active cooldown with its remaining time, such as "2h 30m". Reasons shown:

  • Password Changed
  • 2FA Disabled
  • Fund password changed
  • New Whitelist Address
  • Email Changed
  • Phone Changed A compact notice reads "Withdrawals restricted" with the time left. The cooldown length is set by the platform and the app does not state a fixed duration. The Withdraw form itself does not show the banner; if you try to withdraw during a cooldown the platform rejects it with a red "Withdrawal Failed" notification giving the reason.

FAQ

I did not receive the email or SMS code. Wait for the countdown, press Resend, check spam and the address or number on your account.

I lost my authenticator app. Use your backup codes if the app offers them, or follow the account recovery help for 2FA. Contact Support if you cannot sign in.

Can I skip verification? If the window appears, no: the withdrawal is created only after every check is completed.

Can I make withdrawals only to trusted addresses? Yes: Withdrawal whitelist.

When to contact Support

Include: which check fails (authenticator, email, SMS, fund password), the exact message, the time, your account email, and a screenshot. Never include the code itself.

Safety reminder

Never tell anyone your verification codes, fund password, backup codes, seed phrase or private key. BYNAI staff will not ask for them. If you receive a code you did not request, change your password and contact Support.
