Deposit addresses - current, retired and new

Deposits

What it is

For each coin and network, the deposit page gives you a deposit address. You can keep the current one, add a new one, or switch back to an older one. Older addresses are called Retired, but they still receive deposits.

Where to find it

  1. Open Deposit Crypto (or the Deposit tab in the Wallet pop-up).
  2. Select a coin and a network.
  3. Under Deposit Address you see the address, a copy button and an arrow button on the right. The arrow opens a window titled Deposit Address that lists your addresses.

What the list shows

Each row shows an address and a label:

  • Current - the address shown on the deposit page right now. The date it was created is shown beside it.
  • Retired - an older address. The window says: "Retired addresses still receive deposits — funds will be credited to your account." Tap any row to display that address (and its memo, if any) on the page instead. This only changes what is displayed; it does not move any funds.

Actions

  • Set as default - appears on Retired rows. It makes that address the current one again. The button briefly shows "..." while it works.
  • + Add New Address - asks "Rotate to a new address?" with Confirm and Cancel. While it works the button reads "Rotating...". After confirming, a new address becomes the current one and the previous one becomes Retired.
  • Copy - the copy button next to the address copies it. The Memo line, when shown, has its own copy button ("Memo copied").

Memo/tag

Some coins show a Memo with (Required). Always include it when sending. "Sending without MEMO will result in permanent loss of funds." A memo belongs to the address shown with it; if you switch addresses, check the memo again.

Edge cases

  • Adding a new address does not stop deposits to old addresses.
  • The address list is per coin and network. Changing the coin or the network shows a different set.
  • Always keep the address and the network in step. Sending on the wrong network will not be credited (see Wrong network, missing memo or below-minimum deposit).
  • The app does not state any limit on how many times you can add an address, and does not state how long an address stays valid.
  • If no address appears, make sure both a coin and a network are selected. If you see skeleton bars, the address is still loading; wait or refresh.

FAQ

Why would I add a new address? For example to keep deposits separate or to stop using an address you shared. The app does not give a required reason.

Will funds sent to a Retired address be lost? No. The app says they are credited to your account.

Does Set as default delete the other address? No. The other address stays in the list.

When to contact Support

If an address you used does not appear in the list, or a deposit to a Retired address is not credited, contact Support with: coin, network, the address, memo if any, amount, TxID, time sent, and a screenshot of the Deposit Address window.

Safety reminder

Only use addresses copied from your own deposit page. Never share your password, 2FA code, seed phrase or private key.
